BDX Synthetic Primer is a high build anti corrosive, single pack alkyd primer for use under all HMG Synthetic topcoats.
BDX Synthetic Primer serves as a robust foundation for your coating system, offering superior anti-corrosive properties and exceptional adhesion. Designed for compatibility with all HMG Synthetic topcoats, this single-pack alkyd primer provides excellent coverage and builds a protective barrier against rust and corrosion.
BDX Synthetic Primer is high build and excellent sand ability after short drying period with outstanding application and scratch filling properties.
Synthetic BDX Primer Features:
Suitable for use to suitably prepared structural steel, chassis, steel fabrication by brush or compliant spray.
• Allow hard dry prior to sanding.
• Suitable for use under HMG C71 Speedline
• Available in White, Lt Grey, Dk Grey and Red Oxide.
• Coverage: 16.6m² per litre at 55 microns DFT
• Touch dry: 4 hours mins at 20⁰C
• Thinner: HMG 2611, 2612

Important Information Before Use
Read and follow SDS, TDS, and label instructions. Stir paint thoroughly before use. Always use the same batch number on the same job. Check colour and sheen, HMG will not accept any discrepancies arising after use.
