Monothane is a 2K Polyurethane Finish. Designed for use on Ferrous substrates without the need for a Primer. Provides excellent corrosion resistance. Good gloss level and excellent durability. It can be used on mild steel, shot blasted steel and also has excellent adhesion to a wide range of plastics without the need for a plastic primer. Monothane is suitable for airless application.
This durable, single-stage coating needs no primer, saving time. Ideal for chassis, it applies directly to metal and some plastics. With a 1-hour pot life (temperature dependent) and DFT of 25-100 microns, it’s available in various colors, including RAL and BS shades, and gloss levels (other sheens available based on order volume).

Suitable for suitably prepared and primed metals, clean and free of grease, oils and other contaminants. Not suitable for coating over bitumen or chlorinated rubber coatings. Suitability with existing coatings to be checked with test application prior to use.
Important Information Before Use
Read and follow SDS, TDS, and label instructions. Stir paint thoroughly before use. Always use the same batch number on the same job. Check colour and sheen, HMG will not accept any discrepancies arising after use. Filter the product immediately before use. Reduce emissions and maintain quality by replacing tin lid after use.
